In Brussels, on 1 December 2016, researchers, policymakers and consortium partners met in a highly interactive conference to revise the research programme scenarios in the light of the results of the online and face-to-face consultations held between August and October 2016.
Out of the revised scenarios they generated inspiring possible calls and topics for the 2018 and beyond Horizon 2020 work programme. Additionally they formulated other more general recommendations for research and innovation policy such as framework conditions underpinning social needs based research programming.
The results of this meeting were a list of 23 citizens’ based research topics.
